2025 SGS Annual Meeting and Conference Registration
About Registration
2025 Online Registration Is Open.
Participants wishing to attend the 2025 SGS 46th Annual Meeting and Conference, including those individuals who are involved in presenting a session at the conference, are required to register and pay the registration fee for the conference.
In order to register for the SGS Annual Meeting & Conference, you must have a SGS account. If you are not a member of SGS or do not already have an account, you will need to create a free membership. Please visit our Membership Page for more information. SGS members receive a significant discount on their conference registration as well as many other benefits. If you have any problems creating your account or logging in to a previous account, please email Amanda James at admin@southerngerontologicalsociety.org.
We offer a number of different registration options including one day rates, discounted rates for students and retirees, and companion passes. We also offer an early bird discount if you register before 11:59 Eastern Time on February 28, 2025.
Agencies or organizations sending 5+ attendees qualify for a 10% conference discount. To receive your discount, please email admin@southerngerontologicalsociety.org for instructions. Please do not complete the registration until you have received further instructions. SGS Organizational Members can send up to 3 individuals at the membership rate.
Continuing Education and Certificates of Attendance
SGS is still determining which CEUs it will offer at the 2025 Annual Meeting & Conference. If you purchase CEUs and your discipline is not included, you will be offered a choice of a refund or a partial refund with a Certificate of Attendance. Certificate of Attendance are appropriate for individuals who must submit their own proof to their licensing body and do not require that the event be pre-approved by a licensing body for credit. The CEU Processing Fee is $35. Certificates of Attendance can be purchased for $15.
Donations to the Student Travel Scholarship Fund
This year, you have the option to make a donation to our Student Travel Scholarship Fund during your registration. This fund helps offset travel expenses for SGS student members who are presenting their work at the conference. If you would like to donate an amount different than the options provided on the registration form, you can make a donation at any time here.
If you are an SGS member in the “Encore” membership category and have maintained at least five (5) years of SGS membership, we encourage you to apply for a travel grant to help offset the cost of attending the SGS Annual Meeting & Conference. The amount of the grant will be determined by the SGS Executive Committee and may be split amongst more than one applicant. Winners will remain anonymous. Learn more and apply here.
2025 REFUND POLICY
All cancellations must be received in writing via email to admin@southerngerontologicalsociety.org by March 10th. If received by March 10th, there is a $30 cancellation fee. After March 10th, no refunds will be granted.
If you prefer to register by mail please download the registration form, fill it out in full, and mail to our SGS Executive Director. Instructions included.
