This opportunity gave me the space to really think about what my project boils down to. Additionally, during the process of preparing for the final round we were encouraged to meet with a professor one on one to sharpen our presentation skills.<\/p><p>Although I did not place, I did receive the honor of the &#8220;People&#8217;s Choice&#8221; award which to me means a great deal.
